They released their first full length, "Have You Ever Thought?" with STOMP Records in April 2003, and was successfully supported by college radios and DJs across Canada. The Gamblers rock especially hard during their live performances which have been described as solid and 'mind blowing', delivering their own brand of ska/punk with a ton of sonic energy and emotion. The diverse musical influences constitute a definitive characteristic of The Gamblers' particular sound that might remind you the mystic craziness of Mephiskapheles, the rockin melodies of Five Iron Frenzy and the punk edge of The Mad Caddies. Their music style is a unique, chemical blend of punk, reggae, ska, indie rock, jazz, metal, swing and alternative. Rockin' since 1998, The Gamblers shared the stage with such acts as The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Goldfinger, The Planet Smashers, Subb, Flashlight Brown, Big D and the Kids Table, Mustard Plug, The Gadjits, King Django, The Peacocks, Guttermouth, The Kingpins, Vénus 3, Vulgaires Machins, Map, Somehow Hollow, Pridebowl, General Rudie, Spleen!?, Alaska, The Cartel, Life-Styles, Los Furios, The Afterbeat, The Farrell Brothers, Wednesday Night Heroes, Greg Milka The Couch Addiction and many others. They also had an amazing response from the public at the Montreal and Toronto stops of the Warped Tour 2003. The band had been on many compilations and independently released an EP, which is now sold out and our of print. Last autumn, they went on their first national tour from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Victoria, BC with friends Mad Bomber Society.
